Last friday, I got the change to experience Lulu Rouge in a whole new way: They played at the Danish art museum Louisiana and as always, it was pure enjoyment to hear them play.
At the end of their nearly 3-hour long set, they played a cover version of Oasis‘s “Wonderwall”. It was a version by Ryan Adams and boy was it good! So good, that I must share it with you now, cause it fits perfectly on a monday where you need to take it slow after the weekend. So sit back and relax to some great tunes

Back from a long and great weekend in Berlin, to some good easter holidays, it is everything I could wish for after a insane weekend.
Hope everyone gets some good days here in the easter holidays, and i hope the music will give you a good start.
Happy Easter!!!

Bless You is from Lulu Rouge’s debut album from 2008 with the same title.
Even though the album is a couple of years old now, it still gets played a lot at my house and in my car. Can’t seem to get tired of it.
I know that Lulu Rouge is currently working on their new album, which features some very interesting names. Unfortunately I don’t know much about the release date, but hopefully later this year if all goes according to the plan.
Bless You have been remixed by several artist and here I give you the chance to listen to the amazing song in several versions: First (off
course) the original, the jazzy remix by Mikael Simpson, the more tech-house inspired from Trentemoller and last – but not least – the breathtaking music video.
Bless You All …

Today I bring you these two edits from Lulu Rouge, that I have been listening to the last couple of days. This time Lulu Rouge have taken on Mr. Oizo, who is propaply best known for his ‘Flat Beat’ hit from 1999.
The two edits is Mr. Oizo’s ‘Monday Massacre’ and ‘Monophonic Shit. Lulu Rouge has, as with many of their other edits, twisted and bended the hits to give it their own and well-known touch.

Andreas Saag – also known as Swell Session, is known for his jazzy club music. He dares to mix jazz with electro and even go as far as to mix it with techno.
He calls his mixes ‘Perspectives’ and in this perticular ‘Perspective’ you can listen to is a mix of St. Germain’s Rose Rouge all the way back from 2000.
Because Saag’s original mix is over 12 minutes long, I’ve chosen an edit by Lulu Rouge who has managed to make it a bit better. They cut out all the unessesary extra and made it more club’ish.

Another edit by Lulu Rouge – here with an edit of Shawn Lee & Ping Pong Orchestra ‘Get Your Freak On’. Shawn Lee & Ping Pong Orchestra has made a complete album with cover versions of hits by Britney , Outkast and several others. And, clever as they are, they have titled the album ‘Hits on Hits’.
