We have been getting a ton of requests for a certain track, that Lulu Rouge played for the first time at Distortion Copenhagen. We played it last week on our visit to P6 Beat Radio and the requests have been pouring in.

The track we are talking about is no other then Baba Black’s Bootleg of danish legend Kim Larsen “Midt Om Natten” with a whole new sound but with the track still intact.
It touches you straight to the heart “If you are Danish and Know it ” and you can sing along throughout the whole song.

For the non Danish wondering…. “WTF !!”

Kim Larsen is a Danish musician & hero and the track “Midt Om Natten” is from the soundtrack from a Social Political movie from 1984 with the same name as the track “Midt Om Natten”

Roskilde Festival has just released the entire program which for this year’s game plan, and there are a lot of good things to see and hear.

Today I visited my favorite Danish radio station P6 Beat, where I was allowed to play 3 tracks.
I promised the listeners, that I want to share the tracks on the blog – So here are the first of the 3 tracks, I played.

The first track is a re-edit/mashup by Lulu Rouge. They have taken the original Johnny Osbourne “Budy Bye” track and mix it together with Lance Herbstrong remix of the track and added some drum & bass to it all.

It has been a little tough to come back to reality , after 5 days of Distortion with parties , music and booze. Its been great and we want to thank Distortion and all the people behind it for the great time. It has been a pleasure to go around and see all those happy faces around town. We are already looking forward to the next Distortion.

Now we need to build up new energy, but before we can do that we need to come totally down from the Distorted weekend, with this beautiful track that we heard one early morning at Distortion.
